1. Preliminary Exam (if required):
   • Conducted only if applications are high
   • Qualifying in nature (marks not counted in final merit)
2. Main Examination (Most Important):
   • Mandatory for all candidates
   • Final merit list is based on Main exam marks
3. Category-wise Selection:
   • Category 1 & 2: Main Exam + Interview
   • Category 3: Main Exam + Skill/Proficiency Test
4. Shortlisting Process:
   • From Prelims → Up to 15× vacancies shortlisted for Mains
   • From Mains →
     • 3× vacancies for Interview
     • 5× vacancies for Skill Test
5. Exam Pattern:
   • Online Objective (MCQ) exam
   • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer
6. Minimum Qualifying Marks:
   • SC/ST: 35%
   • Others: 40%
   • Below this → Disqualified
