PSSSB Group D Syllabus 2026: Candidates preparing for the PSSSB Group D Examination should have a clear understanding of the subjects included in the examination and the overall exam pattern. The written examination will include questions from subjects such as Punjabi Language, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Punjab History and Culture, Logical Reasoning & Mental Ability, English and ICT.

PSSSB Group D Exam Pattern 2026
The PSSSB Group D written examination will be conducted in MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) format, and candidates will mark their answers on an OMR sheet. The total duration of the exam will be 2 hours 30 minutes. It is divided into Part A and Part B.
Part A – Punjabi Language
Part A will be a qualifying test in Punjabi Language at the Matriculation standard. It will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions carrying 1 mark each, for a total of 50 marks.

Part B – Merit-Based Test

Negative Marking
There will be no negative marking in Part A. In Part B, each question carries 1 mark, and 1/4 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. Unattempted questions will receive no credit or deduction.
