The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the City Intimation Slip for the UP Home Guard Exam 2025. The written examination will be conducted on April 25, 26, and 27, 2026 across 74 districts of Uttar Pradesh in two shifts each day. Candidates can check their allotted exam city by logging in with their registration number and date of birth on the official website. The admit card will be released three days before the respective exam date. Candidates are advised to download their city slip in advance and plan their travel accordingly.

UP Home Guard Exam Pattern 2026

The UP Home Guard Exam 2026 written test will be conducted in OMR-based objective mode. In this examination, questions will be asked from the General Knowledge subject. The question paper will consist of a total of 100 questions, and each question will carry 1 mark. The total duration of the exam will be 2 hours (120 minutes). Candidates must obtain the minimum qualifying marks to be eligible for further stages of the selection process.

Each question in the written exam will have four options, out of which candidates need to select the correct answer. The examination will be conducted using an OMR answer sheet.

UP Home Guard Physical Standard & Efficiency Test 2026

After the written examination, candidates will be called for the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). In the Physical Standard Test, the height, chest (for male candidates), and weight (for female candidates) will be measured. Only those candidates who meet the prescribed physical standards will be allowed to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test. The Physical Efficiency Test will be qualifying in nature, and no marks will be awarded for it.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Candidates who qualify the Physical Standard Test will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test. This test will be qualifying in nature, and no marks will be awarded.

UP Home Guard Additional Preference Marks
