Selection Process – Direct Merit, No Written Exam

The selection process for Western Railway Apprentice 2026 is completely merit-based. There will be no written examination and no interview. Candidates will be shortlisted directly on the basis of their academic performance.

The merit list will be prepared by calculating the average percentage of marks obtained in:

• 10th Class (Matriculation) – Minimum 50% marks required
• ITI Examination in the relevant trade
