Selection Procedure for Indian Army Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) Religious Teacher Examination
The selection Procedure consists of three phases as mentioned below.
- Written Examination
- Screening Test (Consist of verification of original Certificate, Physical Standard and Fitness Test and Medical Examination)
- Interview

Note: Paper-1 is common for all the candidates and is qualifying in nature.
Papers of candidates scoring minimum of 40% marks in Paper-I will only be considered for evaluation of Paper-II.

Interview Pattern
Interview will be of 100 Marks
It is important for candidates to score 50% marks to qualify in Interview.
The final selection will be based on the merit list drawn on the basis of the total marks obtained in Paper-II and Interview.
No bonus marks will be given to the son of Serving/ Ex-servicemen/ War Widow/ Widow and Sportsmen/ NCC/ Computer certificate holders.
Candidates who have been shortlisted based on marks only in Paper-2 will be interviewed by the board of officers at 1 ASC Trg Centre, Bangalore and 39 GTC, Varanasi as applicable.
