The Indian Air Force (IAF) has officially re-opened the online application window for Agniveervayu Intake 01/2027 under the Agnipath Scheme. Candidates who were unable to apply earlier now have another opportunity to submit their forms online.
The recruitment offers unmarried male and female candidates a chance to serve in the Indian Air Force for a four-year tenure with attractive salary, Seva Nidhi package, insurance cover and an opportunity for permanent enrolment up to 25% based on performance. Indian Air Force Agniveervayu- Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Candidate must be born between 01 January 2006 to 01 July 2009 (both dates included).
- Maximum age at the time of enrolment should be 21 years.
Marital Status
- Only unmarried male and female candidates can apply.
- Candidates must remain unmarried during the 4-year service period.
- Female candidates must not become pregnant during service.
Educational Qualification
A) Science Subjects
Candidates must have:
- 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics & English with minimum 50% marks overall and 50% in English
OR - 3-Year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Computer Science / IT etc.) with 50% marks and 50% in English
OR - 2-Year Vocational Course with Physics & Mathematics with 50% marks and 50% in English
B) Other Than Science Subjects
Candidates must have:
- 10+2 in any stream with 50% marks and 50% in English
OR - 2-Year Vocational Course with 50% marks and 50% in English
Indian Air Force Agniveervayu- Selection Process
The selection will be completed in 3 Phases.
Phase 1 – Online Examination
- Objective Type Questions
- Questions bilingual (Hindi & English), except English paper
- 1 Mark for correct answer
- 0.25 Negative Marking for wrong answer

Phase 2 – Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
Candidates shortlisted in online exam will be called to Air Force Selection Centre.

- Adaptability Test-I: Objective written test
- Adaptability Test-II: Assessment of suitability for Air Force lifestyle
Phase 3 – Medical Examination
Candidates clearing Adaptability Test-II will undergo medical examination as per Indian Air Force standards.
Salary & Benefits for Agniveervayu (IAF)
Selected candidates under the Indian Air Force Agniveervayu scheme will receive an attractive salary package along with multiple service benefits during the four-year tenure.
Monthly Salary Structure

- 30% of the monthly salary will be contributed to the Seva Nidhi corpus.

Insurance Cover
