The HPSC Civil Judge examination selection procedure consists of three distinct stages. They are mentioned below.

Those who secure more than 150 marks (100 marks for reserved categories) can appear for the main examination.
Marks secured in the preliminary exam will not be considered while drafting the final merit list.

Salary of a civil Judge
As per the supreme court order, the Second National Judicial Pay Commission states that a civil judge of the junior division is entitled to get a salary of Rs.35,000 per month. As per this revision, the new salary of a civil judge of senior division is entitled to be Rs. 45,000 per month.
