Today we are going to discuss how to make a career in NDA.NDA means National Defence Academy, as you may know already the National Defence Academy is one of the prestigious colleges in India.
In National Defence Academy candidates are trained to become military officers.
If you get admission to the NDA then you will get the chance to become an officer in the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force as per your choice.
Now I would like to say few points regarding how to join NDA –
first, complete your 10th standard and complete your 12th standard, in the appearing of 12th you can also appear in the NDA examination. after 12 you can also appear in the NDA examination as per the NDA exam age limit.

In August 2021 the supreme court had made the decision that the girls must be allowed to appear in the NDA examination, so in the future, Maybe in 2022 girls get admission in NDA.
So the GIRLS candidates can also start study for the NDA examination.
If you get a chance to join the NDA, then you can become and achieve the highest post in the military which is currently chief of Defence Staff (CDS) in the current time you know our CDS is general B Rawat.
After completion of training, your NDA career progression will be like this –

After the completion of training in NDA which is 3 years, the candidate sends to the Indian Military Academy for the army, Air Force Academy for Air Force likewise in Naval Academy for the Indian navy.
after completion of four years of training three years in NDA and one year in IMA, the candidate gets the permanent commission.
